Metallica has issued two unreleased songs from their 2008 album Death Magnetic. Both songs were played on The Fillmore shows celebrating the bands 30 years anniversary. Songs were released for fan club members.
Song 1 – Hate Train
Song 2- Just A Bullet Away
Both songs are available for download.

Finally Metallica is going to release a new album.

Most of you guys have seen the guitar doodle on google home page. What you missed out was that you can actually record it.
Due to the huge hits it got, Google decided to place it for a second day.Go ahead and try to play & record your favorite song.
I tried to play fade to black intro by Metallica.(messed it up miserably).

Why does my guitar sounds really crappy? It’s a question every guitarist have asked himself at least once.
I am going to tell you guys some nice tricks to make your acoustic guitar play & sound better.
Change the guitar Setup.
a. Experiment with different string gauges. Try Medium,heavy,light etc (you might need to adjust the truss rod for the different gauges)
b.Try a different pick
c. Change the nut, saddle & pins (it will definitely change your tone)
Normally the guitars available here in kuwait comes with a plastic saddle,(some fenders do have bone/tusq) it’s a very wise decision to upgrade it to a bone saddle. It will change the sound spectrum of your guitar. I will turn your muddy tone into a bright,sparkling tone.
You can also change the guitar nut, saddle & pins and replace it with bone. Personally i use a TUSQ nut and a bone saddle & nuts.
Do not mess with the truss rod if you don’t know what you’re doing.
I will explain how to adjust the truss rod and action in a later post.
PS: you can buy saddles and nuts online. Get the walrus bone saddle if you can afford one.
TUSQ- Man made ivory ( somewhat close to bone, even Gibson uses them)
